Neues Projekt von Maidenklampfer Adrian Smith
Iron Maiden Klampfer Adrian Smith und der frühere Frontmann von SikTh, Mikee Goodman, haben sich für ein Studioprojekt namens Primal Rock Rebellion (siehe Foto) zusammen getan. Gitarrist Adrian spielt ebenso die Bässe. Alle Songs des Albums, welches am 27. Februar 2012 bei Spinefarm Records erscheinen soll, wurden von beiden Musikern gemeinsam geschrieben. Der Track „I See Lights“ ist hier bereits abzuchecken:

TOP TEN 2011 - Unser Jahresrückblick
Call To X-Mas!
Das Jahr geht zu Ende, in dem ihr ein neues Onlinemag entdeckt habt. Ein Jahr, das eine scheinbar unermessliche Veröffentlichungsflut musikalischer Glanztaten hervorgebracht hat, wie auch unbekannte Überraschungen und sinnfreies Übel. Wir haben Bilanz gezogen, und unsere 2011er Favoriten für Euch zusammengestellt. Dazu haben wir nur die Cover abgebildet, deren Platten mehrfach in unseren Listen auftauchen. Wie zum Beispiel das von Saxon hier links, denn die Scheibe fand sich gleich vier mal auf unseren Zetteln wieder, wenn auch nicht in dieser optisch leicht saisonangepassten Version. Wir wünschen Euch hiermit an dieser Stelle ein metallisches 2012 mit vielen neuen exzellenten Platten, die es verdienen, entdeckt zu werden.
